I stumbled upon this recipe after I made some date syrup and I was looking to use the leftover pulp. So I took some ingredients and mixed them together.
After baking, I gave the crackers to my boys who absolutely loved them.
They are easy to make and a great healthy alternative to ordinary crackers.
To make them you need:
Dates puree or pulp ( I used 250g dates)
3 TBS Coconut oil
300g Flour
1 TSP Backing Powder
1 TBS Chia Seeds mixed with a bit of hot water
Step 1: Start by mixing all ingredients together. Make sure to make a firm ball out of the dough.
Step 2: Rest the dough for 20 minutes in the fridge.
Step 3: Roll your dough flat and use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut the shape of your choice.
Step 4: Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Step 5: Cool your crackers and store them in an airtight jar until consumption.
Bonne Appetit!
