Hair loss - what now?

Updated: May 10, 2021

Hair loss has become a common complaint of many. Men and woman - both genders experience it these days, and in order to achieve a full head of hair, there are expensive treatments on offer. However, is there a natural way?

The answer is yes!

Before any treatment, you should determine the cause of hair loss. Possible causes could be toxic damage, hormonal imbalance, genetics, stress and trauma, nutrition and diet, medication side effects or any other environmental factors.

After determining the cause, elimination is vital!

The next step following is the treatment which will be different depending on the cause.

We are more than happy to organise a free consultation with you to improve your hair growth!

There are many herbs and natural treatments that promote hair growth but depending on your health, the cause of your hair loss and the medications you are taking. We will give you the right protocol as part of your individual consultation.

Here are still some of the things you can do to improve hair growth.

  • Using oils such as coconut, castor oil, argan and essential oils like lavender, thyme and tea tree.

You must only use essential oils in small amounts and with carrier oils. Some essential oils can counteract medications or are not advised for specific conditions or pregnancy if you take steroids or are receiving medical treatment.

We are happy to advise you of the correct oil mix.

  • Taking Biotin - biotin promotes hair growth and is a great vitamin to take as a supplement.

Although we recommend taking supplements, you should only take them for a specific period as overtaking supplements can weaken the body and have serious side effects.

  • A well-balanced diet can have a significant impact on our health - including our hair growth.

  • Drinking enough water - a single hair strand made of 25% water. drinking water also helps the minerals and vitamins to reach the hair and therefore promote hair growth

  • Hot and cold treatment - encourages circulation in the area. Start with hot (you must tolerate the temperature) for 30 seconds and then move to cold water for 10 seconds and repeat this three times.

  • Exercise - can help you in removing toxins through your sweat.

  • Sound sleeping is crucial if you like to grow hair, as when you sleep at night, your body produces the hormone called melatonin, which also helps in hair growth.

  • Breathing in fresh air and sunshine can promote hair growth. Being out in the fresh air provides the body with more oxygen, this, in turn, cleanses the scalp and helps the development and growth of the new hair. You can also revitalise weak or damaged hair through plenty of fresh air. Additionally Sunshine provides vitamin D, which helps to create new hair follicles.

  • Avoiding washing hair too frequently as well as products like hair spray, relaxants, dry shampoo, etc, as these are full of chemicals and can contribute to hair loss. Temperance( a balanced approach to the use of hair and body product) is another critical factor in using products as every product can change your PH levels.

  • Washing your hair with apple cider vinegar for detox can help but should only be done for a short period, like 2-3x for 1 or 2 weeks.

  • Trust in what you do and your coach advice. Often rebuilding hair growth will take time, and worrying will only stress you and slow down the process of regaining hair growth. Trust also belongs to the creator as ''he (the creator) made herbs to the service of men'' Psalms 104:14.

Please feel free for a free consultation to improve your hair growth. We will help you eliminate the cause, find the proper treatment and show you a great hair routine.
